Today, March 11, 2010 is the 2nd anniversary of Brian Luke Johnson's death. He was a very special young man in our lives. We've missed him terribly. I spent some time with his parents and his little girls, and it was a very precious time for which I'm thankful. Betty, Brian's mother has recently started a grief group, a continuation of one which meets in Batesville. It meets in her office section of the Health Science building at 6:00 on the first Tuesday evening of the month. This is a huge step for Betty to get this organized. If you know anyone who's lost an adult child, please tell them about this support group. Share Proverbs 3:4-6 with a friend today. It's always been a favorite of mine. May God bless you on your Heavenly journey! Jan

What's really important to me today
Since this is the beginning of my blogging experience...I won't be long with words, vague in thought, or too philosophical. I only know that what's really important to me today is the gift of love which was given to me by God - his only son who was sent to earth to live and die so that all men and women everywhere could believe on him and his promises of eternal life. Where would I be without Him and his perfect gift of the promise of living in Heaven forever and forever. And, as the Bible teaches...we have no idea what wonders are prepared for us in that Heavenly home with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and all the angels. Praise to You, our Father and Creator of all the earth and all mankind! Amen
